  • Lindsay

    Instructor / General Manager

    Drawn by her love of dance, Lindsay decided to make Pilates her career. Lindsay was one of the first members to join Club Pilates Klein hoping to understand the Pilates connection with dance. After being Captain of her high school dance team and graduating with honors, Lindsay followed her love of dance to college at Texas State University where she majored in Dance and minored in Early Childhood Education. While at university, Lindsay danced with the prestigious Texas State University Strutters. Lindsay has also worked for a competition dance company, Showmakers of America, and traveled assisting with dance camps and competitions across the state. Lindsay saw the challenge of becoming a Pilates Instructor as an opportunity for growth in the fitness profession. She completed the Club Pilates Teacher Training program and became a Certified Instructor in 2016. In 2017 she was promoted to General Manager and successfully opened Club Pilates Towne Lake in Cypress. In 2018, her family moved back to the Klein area and Lindsay is now General Manager of Klein while still instructing when required. Lindsay is a native Texan and grew up in San Antonio. Lindsay has spent the past 10 years as a distributor advising and mentoring clients, for a nationally known Health & Wellness company. She is also a wife, and mother to two young daughters. Lindsay has dedicated herself to learning and mastering the art and science of Pilates training and Club Pilates members are already enjoying and benefiting from Lindsay's passion and drive. Members keep an eye out for Lindsay's name on the schedule and her classes fill up quickly!

    Instructor

    As both a collegiate and semi-pro athlete, Kate has spent more than 20 years playing soccer, until 2015 when she tore her ACL, meniscus, and fractured her femur during a game. Kate discovered Pilates when traditional rehab fell short of helping her return to her pre-injury self while still experiencing ongoing pain in her leg, knee, hip and back. After only a few sessions, Kate found that Pilates improved her range of motion, decreased her pain, and brought her back to normal functions of daily living. Kate completed her Instructor training through Pilates Academy International in 2016 and is also certified through Barre Above. She has made it her mission to help others rehab, and experience the amazing benefits that Pilates can offer. Kate has a loyal following due to her unique approach to Pilates utilizing laughter, fun and energy!

  • Kristin

    Instructor

    Kristin was a collegiate swimmer, graduating from Minnesota State University Moorhead. She started her Personal Training career in 2007 after getting BSc in Exercise Science. Kristin was convinced by peers to continue her education with the Pilates method through Peak Pilates. After completing her training in 2010 with a complete mind and body transformation Pilates became her passion and primary focus. Kristin’s fitness career has taken her across the country and given her the opportunity to work alongside Cirque du Soleil performers, professional ballerinas, and Olympic Athletes. She has been the recipient of numerous awards including trainer of the month in three different states. What impresses her most about the benefits of Pilates is seeing her clients experiencing pain and limitations becoming functional and pain free. Her mission is for all her clients to feel the positive healing effects of Pilates.

    Instructor

    Born in Japan, Jim is the son of a career Air Force Sergeant. His family moved from place to place, but his growing up years were spent in Hawaii. Attending Berkley College of Music in Boston and then piano tuning school, most of his career has been as a Piano Technician and musician. After many years of back problems caused by the physical demands of his job and being out of shape, the summer of 2016 was a fateful time. A severe back injury threatened to put him in early retirement. In August of that year he started classes at Club Pilates Klein in hopes of returning to full time piano work. Pilates literally saved his career and gave him strength that he had never before experienced. Finding a love for Pilates, Jim decided to advance his passion by entering into the Club Pilates Teacher Training Program and completed the certification process in 2017. A strong technical instructor, Jim looks forward to helping others discover how Pilates can change their life!

  • Feather

    Instructor

    Feather discovered Pilates when she was 14 while training at the Cincinnati Ballet Academy. Suffering from spine and hip problems due to double curve scoliosis, Feather soon found relief and stability by starting Pilates. Feather graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Akron with a degree in Dance Performance. She was the recipient of the school dance award and was selected to dance for the opening of the National Center for Choreography. Feather received her Pilates certification from Body Technic Systems. Her family lives in northern Kentucky and she has an older brother in D.C. In her spare time, Feather enjoys anything creative – watercolor painting and drawing. She is also an accomplished musician on the piano, ukulele, and bango (which she built herself!). Feather looks forward to working with clients in studio and she loves helping clients find pain fee, freedom of movement.

  • Emily

    Instructor

    Emily is a graduate of Texas A&M University earning a B.S. degree in Kinesiology: Dance Science. Emily has been dancing since the age of three, and has trained in classical ballet & modern, and contemporary dance under Angela Jackson and Kerry Godkins. With dancing, she had the opportunity to travel abroad and perform in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland! She also attended the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science conference in Helsinki, Finland. Emily was introduced to Pilates early on during her dance training. Before entering college, Emily successfully completed the 500-hour Club Pilates Teacher Training program. She has been a Pilates instructor for over 4 years. Emily is also a certified recovery specialist with Airrosti. Her future goal is to become a specialized Pilates instructor for dancers! In addition, she plans to have a future in rehabilitation and pre/post-natal Pilates! Emily enjoys working one on one with clients developing training programs by utilizing her knowledge of Pilates, Kinesiology and Airrosti recovery training. She is excited to be a part of your journey and experience at Club Pilates and looks forward to working with you!

  • Nancy

    Instructor

    Nancy was excited to discover Club Pilates Klein and actually joined before it officially opened. She started classes quickly and was the first member at CP Klein to reach 100 classes. Nancy’s interest in Pilates dates back to her college days at Baylor where she discovered Pilates in a magazine article in the library. Little did she know that the isometric exercise routine she did every night was actually a Pilates mat exercise. Keeping active and flexible are extremely important to Nancy. She was born with Spina Bifida, a neural tube defect, and as a result suffers from chronic pain and neuropathy in her right leg. Needing a safe and effective form of exercise that was appropriate for her body she discovered Club Pilates. The love of Pilates and working with people made the idea of training as an instructor an easy step for Nancy. Nancy successfully completed the 500 hour Club Pilates Teacher Training Program. She really enjoys sharing her wealth of technical information and helping her clients gain confidence as they make progress in their Pilates practice. Nancy is an excellent example of our corporate slogan DO PILATES DO LIFE. Nancy is a retired banker. After leaving banking to become a stay at home mom when her son went to middle school, she became a very active school volunteer. Now as an empty nester she and her husband love to travel. Nancy also enjoys painting, drawing, reading, her dogs and just the pretty parts of gardening. They added a daughter in law to their family last summer and are now waiting on grandchildren to spoil

    PMA Certified Instructor

    Cindy has over 20 years’ experience as a Pilates, fitness and nutrition expert. She holds a BS in nutrition, an MBA, and is certified through the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA), STOTT Pilates, Pilates Academy International, and the American Council of Exercise. She was awarded the Highest Designation offered through the IDEA Health and Fitness Association as a Master Personal Fitness Trainer. Her experience includes pain management, and sports performance/conditioning for recreational and elite athletes involved in triathletes, gymnastics, golf, and Professional Athletes from the NBA and NFL. Cindy is a highly sought after public speaker for fitness, exercise, and nutrition. Her experience includes a weekly television and radio segment as the Health and Fitness Expert on WSYR-TV and News Radio 570 in Central New York. She has also been featured in community print advertisements for hospitals, fitness centers, and wellness centers, and has been engaged in training and developing networking and marketing skills for sales and other professions. In addition to her prestigious experience in Fitness and nutrition, Cindy's outside activities include, 8 years as a member of the School Health Advisory Committee for Conroe ISD where she plays an instrumental role in helping the district develop and monitor programs to increase awareness of healthy lifestyles with children within the community; event management with The Woodlands Marathon; and is an active member of The Woodlands Running Club, USA Triathlon and PMA.

    Instructor

    Jill studied chemical engineering at the University of Tulsa. She left the corporate world in 2008 to raise her family. Throughout her life, Jill has always been involved in athletics - from soccer and softball as a young child to rowing in college to marathons in adulthood. After a life changing illness, Jill was introduced to Pilates. She loves that Pilates is an exercise and strength training program that is accessible to anyone, no matter their physical condition! Jill’s journey with Pilates took another step when she enrolled in Club Pilates teacher training program. Jill successfully completed the program and began her second career in October 2017. With an engineer's approach, Jill has demonstrated a keen desire to understand the principles of Pilates and enjoys the challenge of adapting these principles to meet the levels and goals of her clients!
